Overhauled

It has been awhile i abandoned jessica white and left it by a side.
she has been sick for the past few months and i dont have enough money for her meds.
but now i'm back, with wealth and determination to heal miss White.
:D

Yesterday, Thursday, 5 November 2009 - I've spent a whole day in the workshop with full of determination to heal miss White.

Miss white has oil leak all over the engine, and having white smoke at the exhaust.
its caused by the broken head gasket and the damaged valve seal. A top overhaul may fix this problem.

8am, i started to removed the top part of the engine and everything went perfectly as planned.
but i was surprized by the cleanliness of the inner part of the engine, the engine head was so clean, like a new engine. This shows that this engine has been service on-time and no engine oil clog.

The sad thing is the cylinder part, all piston was full of thick carbon deposits and this shows a incorrect air-fuel mixture and imperfect fuel burning of the engine. I dont know how this happens, might be caused by the proton's engine management system. A bad product.

12hrs later, new valve seal & gasket installed. port-and-polished with the engine head assembled.

the engine is started and running smoothly, and better than before.
but i dont think this is a success, coz i found some oil(might be a leak) at the engine.
hmm...this is my first time doing a top overhaul to an engine, i hope everything will be fine. Let it run for a few days and we'll check it out again.

Dreams. will they really come true?

It's 11 am now, and i should be sleeping. Yeah no joke! not that i'm lazy, since i'm busy helping/working at the Shisha Zone @ Taman Setiawangsa, i became a nocturnal freak.

I dont know why, i've been dreamin the same thing for 2 days already. Its weird you know.
not exactly 100% for 2 days, just what i dreamt today was like a continued episode from yesterday.

plus, all the people in the dream was those people whom i've met in my life such as neighbours, guards, friends. but just those who are not that close with me.

I'm a total diffrent person in the dream, i dont live my life with all my friends, i have new life, strangers in life became homies in dream. And my job is to protect my neighbour's kids, send them to school and pick them up. And thats all.

weird huh? hmm...its a very rare thing for me to tell the story of my dream on the next day coz normally i'll never remember anything about what happens in my dream. but this is some special case.
damn...will what happens in the dreams come true?

sleep

i dont know why, its already 7am and i'm still awake.
i just cant get to sleep lately.

I'm pretty bored here alone. So, let me talk about 'How I Sleep' in this sleepless night(or morning i suppose)

• Sleeping filled almost half of my time living. I sleep for atleast 9hrs a day. average of 10 hrs a day. My most precious moment of my life is sleep, and i hate it when i got called up during i'm sleeping

• I'm very demanding in sleep.

• I sleep in a pretty weird position. i sleep with 5 pillows! was using 6 few years back. 1 for my left elbow, 1 for the right. 1 under the head, 1 on the chest another bolster between my legs. another was used to put at the side of the bed, to prevent me from touching the walls.

• Those pillows are just some requirements to put me to sleep, i dont really care where are they gonna end up when i wake up in the morning.hahahahaha

• I have a big bedroom for me myself alone. To be more specific, this room of mine can uphold up to 2 king size bed + a closet + a reading table. But theres just 2 twin size bed(those for 1 person,yang kecik) in my room + a built in closet. which means i still have a very big space in my room(no, theres no any tables in the room).

• as i mentioned WEIRD POSITION, here it goes. I dont sleep on any of those 2 beds, i prefer sleeping on the floor, with a matress with my laptop, phone, foods & etc by my side.

• I used to watched too much of spooky movies when i'm a child. those movies which scares me out and still haunts me till now. There was this movie i watch, i forgot the title. Its a Disney's Movie, something like 'the haunted tower' ke apa lah..cant recall. in the movie, there was this ghost comes out from the mirror. Since then, i'm afraid of mirrors, i'll never sleep with my face facing to a mirror(you'll never find any mirror in my room).

• Theres also this movie which i also forgot the title, ada this boogy man come out from the closet in the middle of the night to kidnap little kids. And because of this, i'll always keep all the doors in my room closed. from closet to room door. no matter what door, as long as its called door.

• just some noise will wake me up. e.g.; door open, door close, phone ringing.(execptional for a very tired YONG)

• Theres still plenty more, but i just can't figure it out now. there might be a part 2 for this, who knows. haha..
  

some facts about yong

1. I have this deasease, Hyperhidrosis. and that explains why my feet & palms are always wet. dont know what is Hyperhidrosis? google it!
2. I can live a day without eating anything if i'm not doing any heavy task e.g; staying at home doing nothing. But i just cant live without water, i drink water like a goldfish, 8 glasses of water a day is not enough for me. unlike my mother & sister, i love plain drinking water.
3. I have a car and i've named it Jessica White. i've been driving it for 2 years now and believe it or not, my dad has never knew that i have a car! (but i think he saw me driving jessica white out of the apartment this morning, dont know. lets just wait and see what happens next)
4. Eventhough we live under the same roof, it has been almost 7 months we never really talked. the only conversation we had is just about my studies.
5. I'm a momma's boy. Its very hard to see me hanging out with my friends from 7pm-9pm when i'm in KL. because i'll be out dinner with my mom.
6. I think i've told this before, but i just like to brag about it so much. i sleep with atleast 5 pillows.
7. Most of my friends are malays and this also explains why i can speak Bahasa Malaysia fluently.
8. The cyberspace yong and the real life yong are 2 diffrent person. And i dont like it when peoples/friends talk to me about anything happens in the cyberspace in the real life.
9. I've never bought/gave any flowers to any girls in my life. erm, theres this once during kindergarten, i pluck on of my mom's plastic rose for my teacher during teacher's day.
10. I'm going to work hard from now and gain more experience. I want to work abroad, somewhere not in malaysia.
    

New Journey

hello guys, i know its been a while i last update my my blog. sorry
forget about those fishes, they're living a healthy and happy life now.

i'm feeling so lazy to update my blog lately since there are not much interesting thing happens around me.

i've started my On-job-training a month ago with Air Atlanta Icelandic, an icelandic airline.
its not any big company compares to Malaysia Airlines System, but its fun working with them which i just dont know how to describe with words! so, lets just let these pictures below do the talking aite.

The fishes are dead, DEAD

i'm having a bad week. i've just added 5 guppies & a pair of 'ikan bandaraya(Plecostomus)'. total of 11 fishes in my tank.

but, 8 of them were dead in just 3-4 days. i dont know whats happening. The auntie from the aquatic shop told me that is the water is not clean, cause poisoning to the fish.

and yesterday, i bought some anti-clorine, water treatment thingy, more guppies, black mollies and another pair of ikan bandaraya.

i've cleaned the fish tank again, and treated the water as told by the auntie.

today is the 2nd day for the fishes, still, theres one unfortunate guppy died. :(
i dont know how many of them will then follow the dead guppy. its real sad to see this happening.

i'm clueless now and dont know what to do next, just hope all the fishes will stay healthy.

Jerking solved

Note: This is an update about Jessica white

i mentioned about jessica white jerking previously. and now the problem is solved, temporary solved i should say.

i did some troubleshoot on the engine few days ago and i found two holes on the spark plug cable.
its weird to have holes on a spark plug cable.

notice the 2 white dots on the cable. something punched into the insulator

well, to get a set of new cables cost around RM120. and i'm officially broke for this month so i decided to do some mod, very2 cheap mod to solve the jerking problem temporary.

its just an easy task to carry out.

1st i apply small amount of silicon glue around the holes.

then i wrap it with wiring insulating tape.

and tadaaaaaaaaaaaaa....all done in just 10minutes!!!

this is a very economical method, since the wiring insulting tape could not stand the very2 hot engine heat, its not advisable to use it for long term. it can last for a maximum of 1month before the problem came back.

at least, the problem is solved for now. so i have enough time to save up some money to buy a new set of spark plug cable.

Yesterday, 2 August 2009, Sunday - Finally, i've made up my mind to clean up the aquarium in my house. it has been left untouch for like almost 6months? a year? can't recall sorry.

I'm sorry to leave it like that, pity little guppy. But, to have fish at home is not my idea, its my dad who wants to have an aquarium at home while we move in this house 14yrs ago. But hes too lazy to do the cleaning job, he always make me doing it.

Thanks to the 'hot-hot chicken shit' dad, i have new commitment of taking care of the fish since i don't know when.

This aquarium has been left uncleaned for such a long time, and the water are evaporated. But, theres still 4 guppy alive, living in there! believe it or not.

I so start to drain some water,
and add up water in the same time to allow the water in the tank to circulate till its clean.

4 guppy in a big big tank is too little. they need more friends. bigger community. so i decided to buy another 5 guppy & a pair of 'Ikan Bandaraya'.
why ikan bandaraya? well, i'm too busy to clean up the aquarium, so let them to the job when i'm away.

i know all pet lover will be very mad at me for leaving these fish alone. But this is just some commitment that i dont want to have. They are not my pet!
And sorry syazmin, i know you'll be mad seeing me seksa haiwan.
No worries now, i'll be treating the fish real good start from now, will take care of them like my own pet. no, please don't call PETA to sue me. i'll be a good boy now...

Sick!

i'm not sick, but my lovely jessica white is.
I don't know what happened with HER lately, she is not performing well like she used to be.
a problem comes after another problem.

i've posted some update about HER lately, where you can read it here if you've missed it:

and now, 2 new problems occurred.

problem 1

i find it hard to start the engine lately. The 'starter motor' engaged to the 'flywheel' when i turn my key to 'ignition' position, but the starter motor did not crank the engine.

cause: some corrosion occurs at the battery connector, and cause the battery to supply less power to the starter.

to solve: it can be done just by cleaning the batteries polar. cleaning it using sand paper is enough. and rinse with clean/fresh water.

problem 2

jessica went jerking whenever i accelerate, whenever i need more power from her.
this problem has been going on for like 2 weeks. and its getting worse from day to day.

cause: i still cant determine the cause of this problem YET. :(
I still dont have time to do anything to this yet, i'm too busy with my practical lately.
but there might be some possibilities that cause this,

• the drive shaft, worn out drive shaft can also cause vibration and jerking to the car. but i dont think is the drive shaft.
  
• the spark plug is not in good condition anymore. a spark plug change may solve this.

to solve: currently still no cure yet for this problem. i'll post an update about this after i solve the problem.

and now i can never achieve 180km/h with jessica like before.

talking about SICK, i heard some rumors about H1N1 in MIAT. 7 students has been quarantined for suspect of infected by H1N1.
well, this is kinda bad news for the institute.
but the good news is, currently i'm doing my practical out campus, so this does not effect me at all.
:p

but i just hope that Miat is never gonna follow the trend of UiTM. closing down and put almost the whole country on holiday.

day 4

day 4 of ojt was boring, no aircraft coming in until 7am. we came in at 6.45pm, and they sent us back at 8pm.

yeay! dapat balik awal, i ended the first week of my ojt successfully. and my ojt update will end at here. but there will still be some updates in the future where i found something interesting to share duing work.
